The Creditsafe database now includes information on over 230 million companies worldwide
Creditsafe, the world’s most-used supplier of online company credit reports, has today announced the addition of 18 countries across Europe and Asia to its global platform.
Businesses will now be able to gain instant online access to credit reports for companies in countries including Afghanistan, Belarus, Cambodia, Iceland, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. The new international reach will see Creditsafe increase its information database by 21% to over 230 million companies worldwide.
The enhanced international coverage will also see Creditsafe’s customers given access to an improved PLC report, which includes profit and loss data, operating costs, financial information such as goodwill and intangible assets, company competitor data and new business geographical sales breakdown.
Rachel Mainwaring, Operations Director at Creditsafe, commented: “Part of our mission is to make as much data about companies from around the world available to our customers as possible. Organisations are constantly identifying new regions to do business with and having access to the wealth of insight found in a Creditsafe report empowers them to verify every business they deal with internationally and make more informed decisions, on a global scale, at the click of a button.
“We are also committed to enhancing existing information, which is why we have added a whole new set of data to our worldwide PLC reports. Used together, these updates will help our customers build a comprehensive picture of customers and suppliers on a global level.”
The news follows Creditsafe’s recent addition of 40 million Chinese companies to its platform. Due to regional regulation, the level of financial information Creditsafe is able to obtain in any individual country will vary, but the company is able to quickly answer questions about a business’s financial health and stability. Creditsafe also conducts direct interviews with businesses and makes fresh investigations where needed.
