Pop Up Blockers

The Creditsafe Prospecting Tool requires customers to disable pop up blockers in order to access the system.

Please choose your browser from the list below and this will show you advice on how to disable the pop up blockers:

Internet Explorer 8

To disable the pop ups in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) simply click on the Tools Tab then Pop Up Blocker and select ‘Turn Off Pop Up Blocker’ as shown in the image below:

Alternatively if you would like to leave Pop Up Blockers switched on but not when using the Creditsafe website you can always allow Creditsafe Pop Ups by selecting Pop Up Blocker Options and typing in www.creditsafeuk.com and clicking ‘Add’ as shown below:

Internet Explorer 9

To disable the Pop Up Blockers in Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) you will need to click on the Tools menu in the top right hand corner which has the Cog icon and selecting ‘Internet options’ as shown in the image below:

From here you should see a tab stating ‘Privacy’. If you click on this you will see the following image:

If you would like to disable your Pop Up Blocker you can simply unclick the ‘Turn On Pop Up Blocker’ checkbox and click ‘Apply’.

Alternatively if you would like to leave Pop Up Blockers switched on but not when using the Creditsafe website you can always allow Creditsafe Pop Ups by selecting ‘Settings’ as shown above.

Under Pop Up Blocker Settings type in www.creditsafeuk.com and click ‘Add’ as shown below:

Internet Explorer 10

To disable the Pop Up Blockers in Internet Explorer 10 (IE10) you will need to click on the Tools menu in the top right hand corner which has the Cog icon and selecting ‘Internet options’. From here you should see a tab stating ‘Privacy’. If you click on this you will see the following image:

If you would like to disable your Pop Up Blocker you can simply unclick the ‘Turn On Pop Up Blocker’ checkbox and click ‘Apply’.

Google Chrome

To disable Pop Up Blockers in Google Chrome you must go to the Chrome menu icon in the top right hand corner of the page as shown below:

Once in ‘Settings’ please click on ‘Show advanced settings’. This will open the Privacy section and you will then need to click on ‘Content Settings’. Your browser can be set to either ‘Allow all sites to show pop ups or ‘Do not allow any site to show pop ups (recommended)’. This is shown in the image below:

If you would like to allow the Creditsafe Pop Ups but not Pop Ups from other websites simply click the ‘Manage exceptions’ button. On the following page, you will be presented with a text field, to allow Creditsafe’s Pop Ups to operate within your browser simply type into the Hostname Pattern [*.]Creditsafe.com as shown in the image below and click ‘Done’.

Mozilla Firefox

To access the Pop Up Blocker settings in Firefox simply click on the Firefox window that is located in the top left hand of the screen and select the Options tab as shown in the image below:

From here if you untick the ‘Block popup windows’ checkbox then all Pop Ups will be allowed. To allow only certain Pop Ups (from websites such as Creditsafe) then tick this box and click Exceptions as shown below:

From here simply include the Creditsafe URL into the text field which states ‘Address of web site:’ as shown below:

Safari

To disable Pop Ups in Safari click on the Safari button at the top of the browser and then click on ‘Preferences’ as shown below:

Under General Preferences click on the Security tab and unclick the Block pop-up windows options as shown below:
