CREDITSAFE RELEASES OFFICIAL ‘GETTING PAID FOR DUMMIES’ GUIDE

Creditsafe, the business intelligence experts, has announced the publication of its official ‘Getting Paid For Dummies’ guide to help businesses improve their cashflow.

The 35-page guide provides practical advice to ensure firms improve operational efficiency and reduce the risks associated with doing business. It highlights the importance of getting paid promptly and what suppliers should look out for at each stage of the payment process, including how to check up on prospects before taking them on as customers.

The book has four sections: the first explains ‘why getting paid on time is important’ and how cash moves around the business. It goes on to provide advice on ‘establishing the ground rules’ with potential customers in the second chapter and then explains how companies can go about ‘ensuring payment’. The guide’s final chapter deals with what businesses should do about ‘taking action when you don’t get paid’ and offers some key pointers to recovering the money.

The guide is being released as a limited edition and is the only ‘For Dummies’ book available that offers practical advice on credit referencing. It includes sample invoices and legal letters, as well as links to useful organisations and sources of advice.
