Rangers Football Club was the most searched for company in February, Creditsafe can reveal.

More searches were made for Rangers than any other company on the Creditsafe system, as customers flocked to confirm the club’s plight and nose around its financials.

This was in February – all before Dave King, director at Rangers, deemed the club's liquidation 'inevitable' – so March may see Rangers top the most-searched list again.

MJN Colston, the mechanical and electrical giant, was second in list after it too entered administration in February.
